Althanas

Althanas.com is a creative writing workship that follows the rules of a play-by-post roleplaying game. People create characters, meeting certain guidelines. They are then approved by a moderator and are allowed to interact with the rest of the community as an in-character entity.

The nature of Althanas is that it creates an immersive, on-going world. While trying to stay conventional, it's goal is not to limit the creativity of the players. However, as the site has grown in recent years, more canon and definitive lore has been requested and the staff has attempted to keep up with these demands.

A wiki has been proposed numerous times and it seems that it is the most viable option for creating a database of accessible knowledge for the community.

The range of articles would include "canonical" information on the main continents of the Althanas world, the history of its peoples, and even documenting high-profile adventures that have been judged and integrated as part of the overall storyline of the Althanas world.

Other articles would include pages describing various characters of Althanas, whether they are "a-list," or not, as well as any player-made creations such as cities, NPCs, and beyond.

It will help create an extensive pool of lore, canon, and knowledge for an ever-growing community and an ever-expanding universe.
