Wikia - creating communities
Shared templates allow the use of templates on the Central Wikia on any other Wikia.

The list below shows some that are especially useful on other wikis. For a complete list of templates at the Central Wikia, see Special:Allpages.
- Template:Main
- Create an instant Main Page for your wiki with this template. Type {{subst:wikicities:Main}}.
- Template:Homewiki
- Leave a message on your userpage directing people to the user page of your "home" wiki.
- Template:Wikia tour
- Use this when adding your wiki to the Wikia tour.
- Template:GFDL
- Tag images and other media as being licensed under the GFDL.
- Template:Copyrights
- Used to add a GFDL copyright notice
- Template:WikiaPolicies
- Links to the central policies.
- Template:No of wikicities
- Displays the approximate number of Wikia. Be careful when using this since the number will not update until pages using it are purged, which could mean you display out of date information.
- Template:Wikipedia
- Used to give attribution to content from Wikipedia. This is an easy way to link to a Wikipedia page that you have used as a source. The template should not be regarded as advice how to adhere to the GFDL.
- Template:Seealso
- Shortcut for standardised paragraph containing link to page elsewhere in your Wikia; example below.

- Template:Stub
- Template for stubs.
- Template:WikiaAdoption
- Template for the main page of Wikia up for adoption. Should be used with "subst:" to ensure links are correct.
