Shavian is a writing system developed specifically for the English language. It has a sizable community of users, but, as of yet, the rules of usage are somewhat vague. The Shavian Dictionary Project aims at proposing standards where none exist and articulating those de facto standards that already exist. Furthermore, the Project will contain a community-developed glossary of Standard English/Shavian English (along the lines of Wiktionary).
