The
Star Wars Games Wiki (later known as
SWGames for short, though still referred to as Star Wars Games) is a wiki for all games based on the
Star Wars franchise. The wiki can be used for different types of games, such as video and role-playing games. The Wiki was founded by
Elelohesterling, but was later 'taken over' by
Brent Powell, the creator of the online RPG, "
Star Wars Diplomacy". However, due to his busy schedule, Powell has been innactive for some time. It is now mostly run and edited by
supergeeky1,
LethalReflex,
Hunterj,
Jakerl,
Fell Skyhawk,
Ryluk Shouja and
Tesh Vohore. On May 31st, 2007, it was decided that SWGames would take care of
all Star Wars games, such as trading card games, it is currently being decided if it will continue to allow all
Star Wars gaming information on the wiki after the merging of RPG and clan information to SWRolePlay. SWGames was noted for its originality, such as making "
sub-wikis", a wiki within a wiki, however these were recently removed due to a new 'aim' for SWGames. It is currently working to make animated online webisodes. They are likely to be six thirty minute movies, all which are scheduled to be out in mid 2008.
