[edit] Article time frame

Would someone please update the time frame of this sentence? I don't know if the software running the site is 1.4 or 1.5. The text is confusing as written. "MediaWiki 1.5 will first be trialed on the Wikimedia sites starting around June 24, and is expected to go live on Wikicities as soon as a stable version is released (hopefully in July 2005). Thanks. it's 1.8 alpha now. infomation like this "news" is not need and unupdatable for us today I think. I propose to delete the section.--Suisui 05:46, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
