Wikia - creating communities

The Wikia starter pages sites are for the development of help and policy pages that will be imported into every new wiki. Style templates and other useful things to help you start or improve a Wikia site will be included.

Existing wikis are welcome to copy/import the latest version of any Starter page. Did you want to copy a template from Wikipedia? There may already be a more Wikia-compatible version on Starter! Conversely, you might help other wikis by offering one of your best pages to Starter.

Custom starter wikis are available for Gaming, RPG game servers, and Entertainment (these work by overlaying their custom content on the main starter kit).

Starter wikis have been created (though not all are yet available) in the following languages:Chinese, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norsk, Polish, Russian, Spanish.

There is also a Generic starter wiki, planned to be used for new wikis in languages that don't have their own starter. Very little obvious content as yet, but with MediaWiki messages for many languages (Welsh for example).
